Unlike most real estate agents, I represent buyers exclusively. I do not list homes for sale. As a matter of fact, I have represented the buyers in all (but one) of the many, many sales I have helped transact since gaining my license in 2005.
Very few agents do this, but I know it gives my clients a big advantage. Listing agents spend the majority of their time marketing their listings and themselves. I am, instead, constantly touring the inventory of available homes with buyers, gaining market knowledge and identifying bargains. By choosing to specialize, I have the time to provide a level of service to you, the buyer, that listing agents simply cannot match. And that high level of services continues after you go under contract, protecting my buyers’ interests throughout the escrow process to closing.
Buyer specialization has given me the ability to be knowledgeable in the majority of the Austin market. I have helped clients find homes in Round Rock, Liberty Hill, Point Venture, Barton Creek, Lakeway, Old Enfield, Balcones, South Austin, North Austin, Spicewood, Dripping Springs, Downtown, Westlake and more. My philosophy is; wherever the search takes us, based on your specific wants, needs, budget and desired lifestyle, that’s where we will go.
I am a native Texan and a resident of Lakeway since 2000. I raised my children in this community and I am actively involved in it. My educational background includes a National Merit Scholarship, a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. Before becoming a Realtor, I spent over 20 years as an industrial salesman to fortune 100 companies such as Intel and Hewlett Packard, selling products as diverse as industrial robots, high-purity gas system components and other clean-room equipment.
But after all my years in sales I decided that representing the buyer’s interests is a much better fit for me, personally. I treat buyers the way I would want to be treated, which is to advise them without applying pressure or rushing them into what, for many, is the most important purchase of their lives.
My highest client purchase to date has been $4.8 million, but the majority of my current clients are looking in the range of $400,000 to $1.2M.
